A note from the author

My stories often include characters whose identities, experiences, or cultural backgrounds  differ from my own. Through speaking with and learning from people in my life, conducting research, and utilizing sensitivity readers, I always do my best to accurately portray every aspect of my books with respect and compassion. Any errors are mine, and do not reflect on the people whose voices helped shape these characters. 

Representation in books is so important, but every lived experience is  unique from any other. I hope, whether in my books or others, that you can find a character that speaks to you and makes you feel seen.
